Pat, I think I told you I was knocked down by one of those huge waves.The first and only time I went in the water there during Feb 81.The pool at the Towers is very nice but the water was too cold for me. I know kids don't mind and have fun but I need warmer water. HaHa.

Becareful with children of the huge waves in the Mullet Beach water. Sometimes the water looks calm and other times large waves will happen.SXM has several beaches with calm water all the time but as said before you will need a car.good luck.

Gert, IMO,the old Pink Tower would be the location for viewing St. Barths but I think the mountains would block the view.We'll never know.

I won't recommend a rental car outfit anymore.I used to recommend and rent from Hertz for 25+ yrs.But after being ripped off by Hertz a few yrs ago I learned a lesson.

Barbara, Looks like a Little Bay Beach Hotel postcard from the DAYS and before the Belair was built in 82.LB was a nice hotel with an excellent beach area, too.We were unhappy when DIVI purchased it and forced the non TS purchasers away in 86. Thanks.

I agree and I loved the water views from the main rd thru SB to the airport....Remember how DARK that whole area was at night. No lights from buildings or street lights and only a few cars on the rd.The only lights I remember were those red ones on the mountain tops and the airport search light until MB Casino from the hill.

I know the old Lands Radio system wasn't the most modern in those DAYS.
