Barbara, I'll take it since we just moved and I need to find a dish. ( only kidding)Why a 12ft SXM is close to the equator I'm guessing a 6ft would have worked too.In N.Y. we needed a 10ft to see the sats. Have a wonderful holiday season. Bob & Maggie.......P.S. Did you have electric power today.I guess without electric you won't need the dish. HaHa

Back in the 80's & 90's the French side would print the days & times of the power outages in the papers. This was when they were improving the system because of the new hotels & demand. We were able to tell when it was turned on again by the sound of the drink blenders. The old DAYS.

EVA, Chill, thousands of tourists have stayed there without problems. He is only out of the office between 12 & 3:00 like most French side operations. The Cottages has the office in the complex. You have to pass it each time you enter or leave. He knows of your reservation and he will leave your key and unit # on his office door. What more do you require!!!!!If you arrive early or late you wil

Mark, We stayed in the Sapphire area and that's where I recieved a few bites. On Orient we experienced the usual Dec winds and no bites there.I try to avoid garden areas and outdoor tables during dinner.Plus I usually don't wear shorts at night but this trip I did.One night I lite one of the candles provided by a Dutch side restaurant as soon as we sat down for dinner.I doubt you will h

I just read today they have 26 cases for NOV.We returned on the 7th and didn't see much spraying taking place on either side. I didn't read about spraying in the DH either.I will say I recieved the least amount of bites this past trip than during our other yrs trips. Maybe because of the stronger Dec. winds this season.

On our recent trip I used AM EX and purchased the 5 buck a day liability ins. The way traffic is and scooters passing I didn't want any problems.50 bucks is well worth being protected and not worrying. Many lose much more in the casino's but hate to spend $$$ on insurance.

The Radisson should be open this week but IMO its not ready to handle a lot of guests.Still way to much work is needed to complete the hotel renovation.I saw Didier a few days ago and told him to check this forum because members were trying to contact him.The Cottages charges in EURO'S but U S Dollars will be fine everywhere. You may call him and leave messages on his recorder too. good luck.

EVA,You can rent chairs at the Le Domaine Hotel next to the Cottages. In Didier's office he has beach towels for the guests. If you purchase lunch at the Domaine plus drinks you should be able to use their chairs for free. I'm not sure about the pool but maybe if you ask.Hopefully the Radisson will be open and construction finished. If you arrive between 12:00 and 3:00 Didier will have you
