Yes, B, I don't know why but I don't remember much about Front St. from our earliest visits but about 83 and on my strongest recollections of Front St. include Risdon's, Pinnocchio's, your liquor store and the bar/restaurant on the same side of the street as you that had all the beautiful birds. Julie, One more thing to consider when renting your car is the issue of motor scooter and motor cycles riders as well as those little ATV vehicals. As long as you're aware that no normal road rules seem to apply to many who choose to drive these things you're probably going to be way better off renting a car and having the freedom to explore and do what you want when you want to. I'll never get it - some of the most beautiful beaches in the world and they're regarded with such a total lack of TLC. And sadly, this mess is created mainly by locals.
