No loud rock and roll, no annoying loud American voices. Really makes you realize you are in the Caribbean! And some of the music is a HOOT!!!!!

We also love exploring the island by car. There are some really nice hidden gems all over the island. And stopping at the side of the road for a bite is heaven!

Dan is absolutely correct. If you drink, don't drive. Have a designated driver or take a taxi. If you don't like to drive, take a taxi. If you don't want to drive, take a taxi. It does not restrict you in any way, except the pocketbook. But it's your choice! It's your holiday, do what you like.

It's not open as a resort any longer. But the units are privately owned and you can rent from an owner.

Gourmet Marche?? Not yet. Perhaps tomorrow. That was the date we were told last week. You would think there would be a big announcement in the paper! We'll walk over and check it out tomorrow probably. As for the Blue Mall - not even close.

Bill could do 10 and not get it all. Most of it "arrives" between sundown and sunup. Such a shame!

Bill did his weekly 3-4 bag pickup at Cupecoy yesterday, just to get a head start. I really have a hard time getting my mind around the fact that people can do this to their environment.

If you are headed to Cupecoy on Tuesday, lets help Dany out and bring a garbage bag. Spend 15 minutes filling that bag with garbage from the roadside at the top of the cliffs. Leave the bag at the side of the road and Dany will pick it up and dispose of it properly. Unfortunately the next two days will result in dirty beaches come Tuesday. No matter which beach you choose, bring a garbage bag
