Has anyone tried 'Soy Vay' marinades? They're fabulous! My favorite is 'Soy Vay Veri Veri Teriyaki'. This is an all natural teriyaki sauce w/ginger, garlic, onion and sesame seeds. My other favorite is their Island Teriyaki which has pineapple juice in it too! I could drink the stuff!! They're great for a quick marinade. Honestly, I don't work for the co

Well.....now that's a different recipe. When I was growing up my grandmother made one with a vinagrette, minced onion and the potatoes were warm. Also, delicious!! You could add eggs but during the warm weather I'd avoid putting eggs in anything, but if it's not sitting around, that's fine. Contessa

A short time later the waitress returns with the order 'That will be $9.4

Sure I make a killer potato salad but it's no secret. Use Hellmans' mayo.... yukon gold potatoes....minced scallion/green onion....lots of freshly ground pepper....salt to taste and a dash of garlic powder ( I can't cook without garlic, somewhere, except dessert, that's where I draw the line!) Mix all well and taste often. I don't have a formula because it depends on

Vicki, While we're on salads I've quite accidently, made a fabulous coleslaw which I now make all the time. One day I was making coleslaw and ran out of Hellmans. Yikes...what to do? Well, I had a bottle of Ken's Vidalia Onion (lite) salad dressing and thought.....what the heck.....it's sweet and delicious, why not? So, I added it to my coleslaw mixture, which was packag

My favorite is the 'flat tire' stuff. Unfortunately, we've had the bad luck to have TWO flats. One on O.B. and a nice gentleman from Norfolk, VA ( I suspect, Navy) helped us and the other, Marius' dad, Rocky came out with a new tire. $$$$! So, the 'Fix-a-flat' would have come in handy, even just to get to a gas station. They do fix flats, don't they??

Q.I've heard that cardiovascular exercise can prolong life; is this true? A: Your heart is only good for so many beats, and that's it... don't waste them on exercise. Everything wears out eventually. Speeding up your heart will not make you live longer; that's like saying you can extend the life of your car by driving it faster. Want to live longer? Take a nap. Q
