I've never heard any follow up about that. Sharon Harris would know and I think she is off island right now.

crime is everywhere. you have to worry about it but it is not as if we are afraid to go out anywhere. if you want a good English speaking school, then I would suggest that the best choices would be one of the private schools here. They are quite expensive but are the best. if you and your child do not have proper residency papers on the Dutch side, your child cannot be admitted to public school

check classifieds in The Daily Herald and real estate agents for your best bets. there are several good real estate agencies. the above two are good.

a visa? you have to get a working permit and a residency permit , otherwise you will be here illegally and working illegally. Both permits are costly and time consuming. If you don't have those before you come, you run the risk of getting deported. I certainly understand about following your dream, but you have to be practical too. Good luck!

Please explain the flag collecting? what is it all about? why did you think you could get a St. Maarten flag here? because you thought people use them on their signatures? I am confused about what this is about. Can't you just google the St. Maarten flag and get it from there? thanks

There is new manager there now and I have heard that things have improved. I have no first hand knowledge though. I do know the new manager is an experienced manager with a good reputation.

this is from maybe the 1930's or 40's I think. and they are drying cassava bread on the roof. When there was no flour, they made their bread from cassava.

give up? I don't think anyone would get this one.. I sure didn't know where it was. When you go to Philipsburg, near the RBTT bank .....at the end of Front Street, you cross a little bridge... that's where this is. it's called the Rolandus Canal. and it used to look like that!
