no. you cannot come in with a single ticket. you must have a return ticket and accommodations on st. maarten are not cheap. and you cannot work without a work permit

yes, he has left the island the bar is closed. He did tell me before he left that the sale is done and that there are new owners..so let's see what happens from here on out.

Neil has sold the place. Also unfortunately the contents were auctioned off on Friday and the place was closed. I believe it may reopen but I understand future plans of the new owners may include building condos. We'll have to wait to see what happens.

that is an unfair statement Unfortunately there is crime everywhere on the island, but you cannot make a blanket statement that crime is out of control on the Dutch side but not the French side.

everything is fine on the island. we have very windy and squally conditions but all is operating normally. I don't know about the airlines but the airport is open. This will all be over by tomorrow.

hi well, I can't speak for the airlines. they are very fickle. The island is preparing for dean but it does look like Dean will come through south of us. but the mets are not saying we are totally out of the woods. It does look good for us right now, but they still don't know when the storm will turn more WNW. the official forecast positions right now are: FORECAST POSITIONS AND

Friar's Bay is a smaller beach.very calm,with 2 nice beach bar/restaurants on it. Mullet Bay beach is a longer beach. it can be calm or have some good surf depending on weather. there are 2 small beach bars there. each beach is very beautiful.

yes, there still are many stories to be told about people who have lost everything. Those wonderful old New Orleans jazz musicians are just one example. It's very sad.

nothing has to be declared upon entering. and as far as the dolphin swim, please do some homework and read some reviews before you decide on that. The facility in Anguilla has gotten many bad reviews and it is really not healthy for dolphins to be in captivity. here is a link you might be interested in:
