Free Cell Phone Use

My car rental company (St. Louis Car Rental) is throwing in a free cell phone with the car rental, all I need to buy is a phone card. Any problem with going this route as opposed to renting one from somewhere else?

Probly not since this is a very good company whos been around for a long time. Can't imagine he'd do anything to mislead you or make a customer unhappy.

mgh56,

It's been a few years now since we used him but I will absolutely agree with the other post regarding St. Louis Car Rentals. They are a very reputable company and had we not rediscovered an 'old aquaintance' in the same business, I'm sure we'd still be using him. I doubt they would steer you wrong with the cell phone - if they offer it then I'm sure it will be just fine.

Respectfully,

pat
:-) :-)

Thank you for all of the positive feedback. It's very reassuring to know that I'm dealing with a reputable company.

What is the charge per min with US when you rent from St Louis Car Rentals?

We use French side phone and use the cards.
There are 2 different cards-one is for local calls
and one is for International. We get $20.00 worth of minutes and never use it all in a two week stay. And we call the states almost everyday.
You can use the local one, but the international rate is more expensive.
ONe is called Amigo and the other is called Intercard.
Of course, I forget which is which.

We use a phone card from the hotel. We bought one for 15 Euros that was supposed o be good for 3 months that was 3 years and 8 visits ago. We were still using it as of November 2007!
