do you drive down past the butterfly farm and jog from there?

Yes I drive pass the buterfly farm, go all the way down and make a right toward the surf club, then park bellow the grape trees... it is all natural reserve, undevelloped, protected and will never be built! the land was expropriated by the state a couple of years ago...my blog

Another new photographer here as well !
Bought a Pentax DSL in Dec. 2008 and have been having great fun experimenting and learning how to capture unusual shots with it. Will post links to some of them after I've had a chance to upload some more pictures, but in the meanwhile am really looking forward to getting some island shots in September. This is a great thread. Looking forward to the OP posting some of his pics.
