Simpson beach

We are thinking of staying at certain condos on the beach, Cocos, Palms @ Las Arena. All these condos back onto the runway. Has anyone stayed here and is the airport totally annoying or what?

Pero,

We've stayed on Simpson Bay Beach at Marys Boon, somewhat down the beach from where you're looking, but if you've ever landed at PJIA, SXM, you have some idea of just how close it is. We heard the planes (for about the first 24 hours) but they're such a novelty to watch that the noise factor was never an issue, and after the first day we really didn't hear them at all.

But we also enjoyed the observation patio there and spent a lot of time watching the planes come and go and to this day, even though we no longer stay at MB, we still enjoy the beach there on a fairly regular basis and the planes are never a problem.
