Tremor! guess how much on the scale....

Just happened! Did anyone felt it? people ran out in the street... Shake shake shake! Like a subway passed underground! Who want to guess how much it was on Ritcher scale.. I heard that it was about 4.6... I doubt! Felt to be stronger! Specially if we remember the one a year and half ago which was VERY strong....

Kind Regards,
Philippe

I see from this web site that the Virgin island area had 3 earthquakes today and the PR region had 2.. I don't see the one you felt listed yet.

I've been in 2 quakes on SXM and when I was in a villa the dang walls shook! It was scary as all get out! In the other one I was driving and didn't know about it until I got to the beach. Weird!! Must be when your moving you can't feel it.
Glad it was minor!>grinning smiley<

I used to feel them when I lived at SBYC. Especially sitting on the ground!

Hey, I....,

One year Kim and Ken were at The Towers and I believe in their penthouse unit and felt one - now that had to be a little scary once they realized what it actually was and what floor they were sitting on and how many flights of stairs they had to run down if it became necessary. Yikes! eye popping smiley

And thankfully, it's something we've never experienced anywhere.

Respectfully,

pat

Barbara: Thank you. I have been going crazy trying to find out info about the quake. I was able to see the seismograph info from the Saba station, but an interpretation is much better.
