I had def. planned on doing that, and when I was telling John about taking a collapsable cooler with stuff he was like "great that will be our appetizer and then we will go to one of the restaurants" When he vacations he goes all out. I have been out of work as I just completed an AA in Arts and a Paralegal degree in Dec. and haven't found the right job yet, so now I am signed up to start my bachelor's soon after we come back, so I am always looking to save.

Just howwwwww expensive is it? Will $100 cover lunch? I know to take cash also smiling smiley

Please don't feel like you have to respond right away on my emails and I am sure I will be using your island 101 less and less soon ;}

Hope you had a good nite!

Juli

$100.00 should cover a nice lunch but if you intend on ordering a bottle or two I'd take more $$$$$.When you park near the dock do not leave anything in your rental car that could be stolen.Do not leave any items in the truck, too.It doesn't matter where you park your car on SXM. Do not leave any items that could be stolen.Have fun.

Pinel is one of our favorite days!
We take a small cooler with water, beer, etc.
We love Karibuni for fresh fish. Lobster pulled right out of the water!
They also have nice ribs, chicken, and great shrimp kabobs.
Mike usually has a beer or two and I have a glass or two of wine.
Entrees are about 14-35 Euros. There are 2 other restaurants there. The one in the middle has the best prices,but we are huge Karibuni (blue umbrellas) fans.
It's all good at every price point.
Yellow beach bar makes killer rum punches!
I wish I was there right now!

The best hamburger I ever had anywhere was at Karabuni, ( also their grilled lobster is to die for). It was delicious!! We love Pinel, it's gorgeous!
