Car Rentals are a highly debated topic on every board. Everyone has their favorites. Here is a link from another board...you will find some reputable
car rental companies there. Personally I use Unity if that helps.

If you're looking for a car rental company that will actually put you in your car AT THE AIRPORT and allow you to drive away in it from there, I think the numbers are somewhat limited.

We have used Lesley Bruce of Kennys Car Rentals - bruce@sintmaarten.net - for many years and can highly recommend him. He will meet you at the airport at a prearranged departure time to receive the car back, and if you are renting a cell phone from Sharon Harris, he can make arrangements to bring the phone with him when he delivers your car to you at the airport. I don't know how that all works but I know many who have used this extra service and enjoy it.

Understand, too, there are many other very good car rental agencies on the island but I'm not familiar with those who will provide this additional service for you, if in fact, this is what you're asking for.

Respectfully,

pat

Whomever you decide to rent a car from, check the car over. Especially check tire wear and spare tire(not flat). Also most likly your US insurance will not be valid to cover the rental car as it would be,say in the Virgin Islands,a US territory
