Just a quick note to Mikes family and friends, I am very sorry to hear of your loss, I allways liked telling the story of being fired 3 times in my life and 2 of those was Mike. He was allways larger than life. It is good to be remembered trying to help someone. Than is something Mike liked doing. I'll allways remember doing a service calls with him on many occasion when it was an elderly customer and Mike would charge them a dollar. And going up with him and his instructer when he was learning to fly. Remember the good guys those are the things that matter. God Bless you and Keep you all Dennis Carver

I remembered coach Mike at North Mesa Elementry in Pueblo, CO. He was such an awesome guy I googled his name 20 years later.

I was between the twins in age and got to know most of the family, all of which, excellent people.

My deepest condolences. Mike was bigger than life.
