Better Days

Hey!

Back from Vancouver and New Brunswick. Great airshow at Abbotsford and hospitality supreme from friends and family on both coasts.

Had time to peruse the forums over the last six weeks and a lot of sad news on line. We will miss Chloe and Thierry at Kissing Fish and all the folks at SSBB.

Our Halloween and New Year's trips are still booked although I resent spending ANY $$$$ to support an Island Government that refuses to use outside help to fight crime; external and within the system. I pity those on Island suffering the frustration of dealing with unreasonable politicians and police. I sincerely hope a legitimate cleanup will occur soon.

A shot from New Year's depicting a scene that shows many enjoying what I considered to be the shiniest facet on the Island jewel.

Welcome back! I would have hoped you posted some photos of your trip as well... Please post some so that those of us who will never get to see that area can be enlightened.

Hey!

A few pics from my trip to Saint John, N.B. with grandson Lucian.
Michele drove up and back leaving me in Raleigh on the return. Her Canada trip was thus about 4 days total.

Flew RDU to YVR for the airshow and a great visit with friends.

Click on the pic to start the show.....

ENJOY!

Denis,

Loved the photos - they brought back some incredible memories. John and I camped with our kids up in Digby Neck one year that seems like lifetimes ago now - but New Brunswick and Nova Scotia boast some of the most beautiful scenery I've ever had the privilige of exploring. We made it all the way out to Deer, Briar or Long Island (I'm thinking only two of the three names I've given are correct but I can't remember which two they are - old-timers do you think?) - but it was whichever one boasts the beautiful lighthouse that was most awe-inspiring and what an incredible location that was. We parked our motor home and explored the area - how beautiful and how serene.

Glad you had a great trip and thanks for sharing and rekindling happy memories.

Respectfully,

pat
