I can help you get to Baie Rouge and Cupecoy
Take the road toward Marigot if you are coming from Maho/Simpson Bay. You will pass the Atlantis Casino on your right and Cupecoy Beach Club on your left. Then on the left you will pass The Cliff and Rainbow Beach Club. The road will bend to the left and next you will pass the Sapphire BC and finally the Ocean Club. If you made a left
immediately after the Ocean Club's last building, that road would eventually lead you to Cupecoy Beach. I have never done this but I have read numerous times that this is the way to get there. There are a few places to park but be careful and leave nothing in your car! Also, they say that as you are exiting back onto the main road to be
VERY careful as it is hard to see oncoming cars coming from the Marigot side due to the foliage.
Now..onward...you will follow the main road past the Ocean Club and you will go around a new roundabout. Then you will go up a winding hill and eventually be on a road that winds left and right, up and down. This road will take you past many private gated estates. THEN...
and very important...the road will turn a sharp right to a straightaway as you go toward Nettle Bay. AT THAT TURN, if you make a left rather than stay on the main road to the straightaway, this bumpy short road will take you to the Baie Rouge parking lot. If you go down the long straightaway on the main road, then you've gone too far. Turn around and when the road turns sharply left, instead, just continue to go straight onto the short road leading to the beachparking lot. Baie Rouge has steps leading down to the beach and there is usually someone in the parking lot watching over the cars.
