AA Frequent Flyer Miles...use em!

Hey!

Looks like the FF mile program is changing as of October 1.

Just got off the website and can still get some Caribbean destinations for 25K up until Sept. 30; then all hell breaks loose to the tune of 50-60 K.

The connections for the 25K really suck but the price can still be right for SJU, SXM, AUA and a few other Carib. destinations.

Gotta get to St. Somewhere before the increase!

American has 3 different tiers of awards within Coach Class.. The 25k mileage amount is still the same as it was previously for their "Milesaver Off Peak".. the next level is their "Milesaver Peak" which goes up from 30k to 35k.. both are still based on the limited seat restriction.. if you're early and lucky enough to get it on the flight you want.. the higher amount that you're talking about (from 60k now up to 70k) is their 'anytime' award which means if theres a coach seat on the plane, you can get it for that # of points..
