All right, here is a panorama of Galisbay, with the Grand St Martin at the bottom. You can see that it is also different and extended to compare with the second picture of Barbara. They didn't stopped to built. But the most important in this picture that's the mountain in the background! They match the ones in the Barbara's original picture. So, IMO it is really the Grand St Martin, or at least what was at it's location when the poscard was taken...

I think that is the answer. A friend just emailed me and says her husband says it is the first Grand St Martin Hotel from the 60's.
Now why didn't my husband know that?confused smiley
