Hey guys, coming to visit st. martin in june and I am staying at the oyster bay beach resort, is this the same as oyster pond? I am a fishing fanatic and have chartered a half day deep sea trip with roland peterson. I am wondering if the tarpon fishing is good around the oyster bay area from shore, and also maybe snapper or snook? Any Spots or ideas would be appreciated. I also ddont have a clue as to tackle or rigs to use. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

you can fish for tarpon in the Salt Pond and in Simpson Bay by the bridge.
You7 used to be able to do it on the point by Oyster Pond but I think there is construction there now.

My wife and are planning on returning in July. Let me know how the construction affected your stay.
