Is sxmhotelguide.com legit?

I'm trying to book a trip in February, and the site sxmhotelguide.com is giving rates that are many hundred dollars lower than advertised on other travel sites, etc.

Has anyone used this service before, or heard anything about it's legitimacy?

Apparently it's run by "Mr. St Martin" (mrstmartin.com) Joe Rinaldi?

Thanks for any advice.

Although I have never used his services, he has been around a long time and is rather well known. He is legit.

There was a long discussion about this company on TTOL travel board a while back. I would look at some of the others booking companies cause if I gotta pay a deposit up front I want to know its going to be payed and my reservation will be there when I arrive. And thats what they were complaining about.

Paying a deposit insures you will have a place to stay or car when you arrive. I have heard of no car upon arrival because companies overbook the reservations if there is no deposit.

In the well over 20 years I have been traveling to SXM I have NEVER had to pay a deposit for me car rental. And my car has always been there for me.
