Free Internet Access

I seem recall a few internet public hot spots in the Maho area. The Sunset was an easy place to use...

Are there are others now on board that provide the ambience and ease of use???

God forbid that the Towers have any service ...I'll bite my tongue if I stand corrected.

Thanks for any help.

Tom&Denise,

I know the Towers does have internet service in the rooms for a fee because I've seen my granddaughter 'chatting' with her friends at home but I have also 'heard' you can sometimes snag free service if your suite is in the general direction of the medical school. I can't say this with any certainty but I have heard others mention the possibility. Good luck.

Respectfully,

T&D - start biting!! They have offered internet service for at least 2-3 years. You pay $10.00 a day or $60.00 a week, and you are given a "modem" thing you plug into a power outlet and then into your computer, it works great, though we were down 2 years ago for 3 days, during Easter, but once the holiday was over, it was right back to working great. I have also heard if your on the side of the building facing the college, you can get access on their wireless (WIFI) I think thats what its called? But I have never done it. I don't mind paying to use it, because if I didn't want access, I'd be unhappy if my maintenance went up to offer it.

There is WIFI in the Maho area. While we are at our timeshare at the Royal Islander, I can pick up a free signal at the pool area that Maho is sending. Royal Islander charges $10 a day. With the continuing rise of our maintenances fees, WIFI should be free.
