Hi

Am going to be in SXM from 5th - 9th October and wanted to hire a buggy rather than a 'normal' car. Can anyone recommend a company ( preferably with website so that I can book fromn the UK ? ) I know there are several near to the airport but they don't seem to show up when I search for them ?!

Thanks !!!!

Actually - on the french side I think they rent them (or used to) they were called "Mokes" or "Mini Mokes" always wanted to rent one, but never did. Not sure if i would today - maybe 20 years ago!

I guess they could mean a Moke but been there done that on St. Barths one time and that one time was more tthan enough. Beyond not being safe on the smx roads their awful uncomfortable. Do you think the OP is talking about a jeep? Or maybe a SUV? And he wants to pick it up at the airport?

That picture brings back memories, Rented one on our first visit, in 1985. They were quite common then, both with travelers and residents. Times have changed.
