Elaine,

Thanks for the clarification. As I said, I've only exchanged once and that was several years ago to Barbados, and there, too, the check-in inventory was required so I drew from the combined experiences that all timeshare properties required it, but possibly there are those that don't, hence Kris'annoyance over having to do it.

Respectfully,

pat

I have to agree with pat on so many issues. The staff are some of the nicest people around, and to even think about theft and that staff together is, IMHO, ridiculous. We have had the same experience as pat - left money and jewelry around and never had a problem. We had one night some years ago where our outer door, for whatever reason, was not closed properly (I blame the kids!) - the security guard watched the door all night, and when he saw a light under the door, knocked and let us know that the door had been open. He didn't want to close it in case we were waiting for someone to come home. The staff have always been available when we needed them, and yes, we had to wait sometimes, but never to the point where it was an inconvenience.

Yes, the place is aging (aren't we all?), and while the linens and towels may be well used, I have never had a problem with DIRTY linens. In fact, we have often found that the staff change the clean linens and towels even when they don't need to be changed.

I also agree that the inventory sheet is for EVERYONE's protection - staff, owners and trades alike. When checking into one of our owned units, I always check the inventory just to make sure that everything is there (especially the corkscrew!!).

I am sorry that you did not enjoy your stay at the Towers - we leave in seven and half months to go back, and as always are looking forward to it.

Michele

PS pat hope you have fun - stay away from the water balloons!

Darlene,

The Towers has a new 800# - 1-800-414-6058. This is af of 12/06/2011.

Their current email address, as far as I know is still: Towersrsv@yahoo.com

Respectfully,

pat

Grover,

We received an email back in December - might even have been while you were on the island - the old 800# has been replaced with the one I gave in the post above yours. You might want to make note of it for future references since I thought they told me the old number has been done away with.

Respectfully,

pat

My wife and I are considering an RCI exchange to this resort in April.

Good choice? What would be the two best and worst things about this resort? Feel free to share more than two if you feel like it. I'm trying to learn as much as possible

Do they have internet access? What is the cost for internet per week?

Thanks for your responses,
Dave

Of our 3 timeshares, it's still our favorite. Quiet Pool area. Close to Maho, Simpson Bay, Atlantis and French side. Great staff.

WWII,

We only have three weeks at the one timeshare but we've loved it for each of the years we've owned there and since we were pre-construction purchasers, I guess you can see we have no regrets with our weeks.

The pool, the beach, the golf course - it's our favorite place in the world to enjoy a beautiful sunrise and our quiet haven at the end of every island day.

And when we get to top all that off with a glass of wine while enjoying the sweet scented Caribbean breezes on our balcony watching a full moon shining on Mullet pond? Well - it just doesn't get much better than that IMHO.

Respectfully,

pat
