Good day.

Can anyone advise me as to whether or not their are ANY car rental agencies on the French side that will drop off a car as opposed to picking one up at the airport.


Flight gets in extremely late, and we have no idea how to get to the hotel, so pickup at the airport would really add to the confusion.

Most island car rental companies will deliver the car wherever you want it to be delivered - hotel, villa, etc., if you make your arrangements with them for that service and truthfully, I think it's a smart move to do it this way, particularly if you're uncertain as to how to get wherever you're going or, as you said, you're arriving on a late flight. Just be certain to have a specified time for the car delivery so you don't have to wait around for it to arrive the next day.

I would recommend Marius Andrews of St. Louis Car Rental Company as a quality French side operation that I've personally done business with but I'm sorry to say I no longer have his current e-mail or phone numbers.

We use Lesley Bruce of Kennys Car Rentals and I don't know if he does this on the French side of the island or not but knowing Lesley, you could contact him at bruce@sintmaarten.net and he would probably be able to put you in touch with someone who does provide this service on the French side. We've been going for many years and always stay in the same location on the Dutch side so we prefer to pick our car up right at the airport.

Enjoy your island time and I hope someone can speak up with better info than I've been able to provide.

just stay away from Reynolds Car Rental in Sucker Garden!!!!
They are an abomination & should be shut down:
No seat belts, no horns in the cars, doors falling apart, windows
that dont go up or down...need i say more??
