My husband and I won about $1,800.00 us on the slots this year. Most of it there. We spent no where near that to play. There are some kinks in some of the new machines though and you need to watch them. Some of the machines were not set up properly. I won $$300.00 and the machine did not show a pay out. The manager did settle up with me and pay me and then put two peticular game machines out of commission until they were set up properly. No money to handle for pay out. You get print out and can go machine to machine if you take your money out. I like that. It is a lot cleaner than to have to keep handling money in and out the machines. Just put you initial money in and have fun.

The machines I played a lot were the dollar machine. They are new. They roll and if it lands on the pay sign the machine gives you four chances. You push the button if it offers you $40.00 to try again , if you think it will offer you more money the next time. You have to decide if you want to try again or accept that offer. There are 4 The other one at the end of that kine is three circles. If it lands onthe money sign you push the button and it will spin. It gives either a cash pay or if it lands on the hand you get a second spin to the next level. .Interesting game. You must play 3 to get the free spins . These are the ones I spent most of my time on.
Regards
Sharon

The hotel is very nice now but not completed yet. They started having guests before they were completed. Any one I spoke to staying there was having a hreat time dispite this. Staff are very accommodating and polite. . It does not have the flavor of SXM the other hotels have. Very American. It will be beautiful when done, and quite expensive I understand. Because of all the constructuion going on it still seems dirty in the area, and many of the area residents are not too pleased. I sat on the beach and heard two women living in the area complaining for an hour about it. As you go over the hill to it , it looks like a little city under one roof. The house on the top of the hill beside it can't be too pleased. The view he has looks down into the entrance into the hotel and all you see is cement building parking garage and road. PROGRESS!!

Perfect desccription Sharon...when you come over the hill from the Oyster Pond (Captain Oliver's, etc.) direction we honestly felt like we were in the Twilight Zone. All you see is roof filling up the valley where Scavenger's once sat anongst the hurricane ruins. Absolutely eerie !!! Lots of constructi9on going on there in early December with hundreds of workers on and around the property. The parking garage, near the road, wasn't near completion. The pool was empty and there was no noticeable funrniture outside. This was 9-16 December."PROGRESS"?...yes...BUT...we didn't like what we saw. I really hope they're carrying a goldmine of flood insurance because it is built right on the ground...hate to see what a similar storm might do to this monster resort.
