going down next week and heard one of my favorites-bananas-is closed. what happened-it is because of the casino and parking next store?

Heard their rent was raised and they didn't want to pay. Who know the real story. But they are gone.

For the "Bananas" fans!! Do not despair....A new restaurant will be opening at this location. The new name is "Topper's" and will open the first week of November.

I was there the other day and the owner is running for drinks only until November then meals will be available.

They are now serving one item a night in the bar. We ate there last weekend and had their brisket sandwich - out of this world! I think they said they are not opening the dining room until Nov. 3rd, but they are planning a big halloween party next tuesday.

The food is a "10" at Toppers. His red sauce is unbeleievable. Everything I have tried has been great, and the staff couldn't be better. Can't wait to go back!

Toppers was excellent, Prime Rib is back, Tues/Wed Much needed upgrade to interior.

Do not miss this one. Just got back. We ate at Topper's 4 nights out of 7. Can't be beat. Our new home away from home. Boy I miss that arrabiatta and the brisket. I wonder if they deliver!
