Mullet Bay

Awhile back i thought i had read that some work was being done at mullet bay, ie: demolition, buildings being taken down and work being done by building one on the water, any truth to it?? Also are the lights on the road going through the resort on at night?? We are staying at the Towers and it is a ghost town especially with the lights out! One more thing, how is the golf course these days and is it worth bringing your clubs??
Thanks

.Just returned from the Towers. No work going on as yet.Reportedly,a court decision on the property was due late March. No lights have been replaced.Only 2 exist on road along par 5 16th hole.Golf course is playable but not ideal.Golf carts often break down.I played 6 times over 3 wks with my clubs.Course is still a challenge with water holes. If you love golf, bring clubs and play. You may want to bring a lighter bag in case cart breaks down.Pool, bar and bartenders are still great.Beach is good too with new concession stand for food and drinks.Cheri's was not open in March but scheduled to open sometime April.New casino called the Dophin is place to go....Good Luck...JVP

The Towers, sorry, there are some issues the owners might wnat to look at for future enjoyment.

1- Staff...not available hardly at all except timeshare typical check in and out. And not friendly...oh, unless you have cash in your hand.

2- I always cook or tidey up my unit while on holiday, but the quality of linnens and sheets were so awful I absolutely was appaulaed. I am not a snobby high thread count person, but fitting and clean...yes! Not the case at the Towers.

3-The hightened implication at this resort about theaft was horrible. I felt like the entire place was filled with questionavle folk and punative staff. By the way,I do resent inventory of kitchenware while on vacation...hello can the staff perhaps handle that issue, since we all pay a $50.00 tax at the end of our stay...?

4- Pool and pool bar...simple is good, friendly is better.

SO, despite an incredible island, with a great resort location,,,,the resort forgot that we, the customer will make or break it. And all of us, high hopes and simple hopes, like to be smiled at, and appreciated for patornage. Because gosh darn, I smiled the entire 10 days I was there just because I was there to not worry.

Pat, help your Towers move into positive $ potential and quiet luxary.

Mullet Bay Beach does Rock!

dolphin casino has not been at the caravansari for at least 3 years-it is located next door the the old bananas (forgot the new name) just before the drawbridge on the right side of the road coming from the airport. there is a new name on the casino at the caravansari but has not opened because of license issues.

Where's the new concession on the beach? We were there in February and there was Rosie's and Daleo's. Rosie's always been my favorite!!Great ribs and people.
