Haiti

Years ago there was an area called the Haitian Village. At that time there were obviously many Haitians living on the island, probably illegally.

With the probablity of so many illegal Haitian immigrants living on SXM today, how is SXM reacting to the recent disaster?

It can be inferred that the lack of response to this OP's question is that St. Martin is doing nothing to assist in the relief effort of a fellow caribbean nation.

MONIQUE
When you start ASSuming you know what usually happens. Many might not of answered the first question because of the assumptions made there in the first place but you dont have to be a rocket scientists to read and figure out the people of st maarten much like most of the people of most of the world are doing everything in there power to help.

Thank you Barbara,

I have always found GoBeach to be a quick means for info on important topics. For those who fault my observation, I apologise.

My internet access is VERY limited. I meant to ask the same question as the OP. When I saw it being apparently bumped down, it seemed as it was an attempt to minimize the critical nature of the situation. For this board, I was very surprising.

I guess this is no longer goto board to discuss important issues. C'est le vie.

Yes I do: I look (not the same time) and I spent: in Germany it was the original Tv (with the "Hope 4 Haiti" com website AND in also live but with German Translated and the Kontakt from DRK to help.

I don`t know how much they have at last but I see on the TV how much People call to the Tv and are helping.

It is good to see, that other People help stranger People.

greetings

MD
