Yes, some independent members of parliament who made a coalition switched o confidence, and it seems that a new coalition will be formed or there will be some early election with an interim government in the meantime... strangely, this type of "talk" between political party's member always happen around Carnival.... Nothing is surprising me anymore here, nothing......

Reading your report, I guess I am learning that there are still things going on at Maggi's Sports Bar that I am not aware of as I should be, and that I need to clarify them with my staff..... Sometime, I don't know anymore in which language I should explain them things and talk to them!!!

Beers at Maggi's start at $1 (2 for one at Happy hour!)... The bar has a late clientele for now, and the 3 first weeks of december are the slowest week in general. Thus we are not worried about the season as it is picking up and the sports bar is going to propose more choice on its menu

Tracy, I think there is a little bit of confusion here and you believe I am someone I am not, as we never met and I am not working nor I am affiliated with Captain Allan's Charters.... I just know that you like his charter... Internet is a vast and interesting world in which we learn a lot and as moderator of this forum it's sometime a necessary tool ....

actually I was recently given a website address very interesting for people who travel and want another choice of accomodation than Hotel or Timeshare. Rent an appartement (or a room, or a futon in a living room) at a lower or lesser cost... If people are interrested : www.airbnb.com Maybe you all already knows about it, but I didn't and I think next time we are traveling to NY or elsewher

Nettle Bay is on the French Side, but to the opposite as what most American and Canadian believes, Nudity is not everywhere in France... there are some locations, area where it is not acceptable, which basically everywhere in fact! The only area where nudity is accepted is in specific regulated naturist areas. Topless in your own perimeter is accepted of course, including your patio or terrasse

Pat, I gave the information that I know for going through this myself, and also because of my knowledge of the French Law, being a Jurist (it's my background as well as accountancy). According to what I understood, Sal is established on the Dutch side, so she certainly deal with Dutch "island Attorney" and other professional from that side of the island. Believe me, I deal with th

To my knowledge "food cart" is not a "protected" profession, and to my knowledge, we don't have such protection in France that a specific occupation is strictly reserved to French Nationals. The only protection we have is that some of the occupation are "licensed", like in the states, and that you cannot do them without having the license (haircutting, real esta

You need to create a corporation (a SARL or a EURL - equivalent to a limited liability company). It must be registered at the chamber of commerce and receive the "extrait k-bis". To do all that I recommend you to take an accountant. He will be the one writing the deed of incorporation of your company and deposit it at the chamber of commerce. he will be also the one who will file with a

Ok, my appologies, but I am going to close this thread since it is the same old question being asked over and over by peopple who don't read the whole thread in the first place. The best place to find valuable info about imigration is not on a tourist message board but directly with the official organisms, a consulate and/or imigration governement agency services.
