We found the cost to be about the same as our other favorite restaurants. We spent $110 before tip for one appetizer, 2 entrees, 1 dessert and 3 glasses of wine and bottled water. Same ballpark as LaGodola, Moulin Fou, etc. Meal was delicious and service great.

We now rent from Sharon. She's great! I didn't think to check my regular Verizon phone last week when we were there, but I did check it near the airport in November and there was no service. Before the recent problems, I was always able to get good reception in that area. So...I wouldn't count on Verizon.

Granduca by Enzo La Rosa is in Maho across the street from the Casino Royale and above Paris Bistro. We ate there last week and the food and service were excellent in a very nice setting. We will definitely eat there again during our next trip in March.

You can print boarding passes at the Mailbox in Simpson Bay. The problem lately has not been checking in and getting boarding passes, but rather when they are checking passports at the top of the stairs. Took us 45 minutes on March 22. There are two lines. If you plan use your Verizon phone, please be aware that they charge $1.99 per minute for all calls.incoming and outgoing. Also, contrary to their instructions, to call the US from SXM, dial as you would at home. To call the Dutch side, dial 011-599... as you would if you were calling SXM from home. As of last week it appeared that most of the road work had been completed, but there was still a detour around the new round-about. Walt travels to Toronto frequently and uses his US Verizon phone there with no problem. It costs 69 cents per minute. We have international dialing, but I don't think you need it for Toronto because it is close to the border. We are leaving for a week on May 31st. We also have reservations for a week starting on September 6 and again on January 4. I'm trying to squeeze in another week in November. Walt is retired but is on several boards, so I have to work around his meetings! I must say, it is a tough life being a professional vacationer!!!
