There are lots of nice beaches on SXM, where we will be staying for 12 days. We WOULD like to visit Anguilla for a day and are thinking of taking some kind of island tour that may or may not stop at Shoal Bay East. Does anyone know of a reputable, informed, and entertaining guide (could be a cab driver?) who could show us around on a single day trip? Does anyone have a general idea of costs?

UPDATE - Feb 27, 2010 Most US airlines will not allow you to check luggage more than 2 or 3 hours before the flight. Can you still check luggage REALLY early at SXM? That would be SO nice!

What's all this talk about thongs looking bad on men and women? If one buys the right size and they don't fall off, I see nothing wrong with them. Of course, what I have been looking for is reassurance that it is NOT ALL TRUE. That is why I specifically asked for local input. I know that they know the reality of the situation.
