Restaurants in Grand case

Getting back in tune for week 49.

How are the restaurants in Grand Case and Orient coping with the Euro at 1.49?

I haven't seen any recommendations in the posts.

Sunday late afternoons at Boo Boo Jam were a great time (food, music,dancing,etc.).
Is this still happening?

thanks for any update.

L'Estaminet and La Villa were doing very good business during September giving $1=1.20E. That might have changed by now. Think most of the GC restaurants are surviving with slow and busy nights. Just not real consistent.

went to La testavin, the exchange as 1.30 at the restaurant, better than the going exchange. Food was delicious, but beware of the water bill. We were charged 23 euros for water and that was for lunch.

I forgot to mention that there were five of us, still we only had three bottles. The wine was much cheaper.

Eat at California last May and they do $1 to 1 E if you pay cash or travelers check. Food has always been good.
