I need to the condition of the hotel , I was their about 5 years and it seemed in pretty good condition . And also does the hotel have security on the property.

Yes if you recall there is a gate at the entrance with a pole across the road the guard must raise each time a car enters or leaves. We've stayed there many times since it first opened around 1990 and my last stay was 5 yrs ago too.Twice a yrs Nov/Dec & Feb we rent chairs at COCO beach during our trips.I have seen a guard riding a bicycle around the property during the daytime.The grounds are still maintained very well but I can say if any new improvements were made in the rooms.The Astrolabe is still very good and we would stay at the hotel again. COCO doesn't have or permit C/O anymore.good luck
