The steps down are still there even with the construction, they left a little narrow path between two wall linking to them.
The dogs are pretty inofensive, they bark, but at the same time, you will notice that they wave their tail. They just try to impress and "protect" their front door. But if you talk to them they will certainly feel that you are friendly and they will become righ away some good friendly coconut retrievers who may follow you for a while on the beach palying together along the way.

Thats true about the dogs. When I have stayed at Marys Boon I made great friends with them. I had no fear walking alone on the beach after the first day there. The rest of my week I had a great companion in the coconut retiever, he escorted me every day on my walks. Have a great time,you should get some great shots along that lovely beach.
