Try the music man in P'burg. or their is another music shop but the name slips me located in Marigot - on the main road on the right hand side of the road after the streach from Dutch side to French side.

There's a vendor selling music at the "open-air" marketplace, by the water, in Marigot. He sets up very near the permanent kiosks (where the fresh fish, spices, veggies, etc. can be bought). He's been there on Wednesday and Saturday mornings for as long as I can remember. He may have just what you need...however, don't count on CD's...he's only had tapes in the past. Cheers, spike

That music guy at the Marigot Market does have CD's now Spike. We bought a couple last year and will probably buy sum next week when we get to the Island.

Most of the local guys that sold music on the Dutch Side are gone. Dutch authorities clamped down on pirated music cd's and tapes.

DONT STOP THE CARNIVAL !
