We just got back on Friday and we found a restaurant we had not been to. It opened 2 years ago just a few days before we were there so we missed it.

The Wharf in Simpson Bay between Lees and The Boathouse. We had dinner at Halseys last Monday and were looking for a place to listen to music. They had a live band that was great. We checked out the menu and went back for dinner on Tuesday. Stay until 11 listening to music again. After dinner on Friday we went for drinks and music again.

We had a great time. Again the band was great and the service was great. If you get there tell Elvis the owner that Rick and Grace say hello.

Marty's Gyro's, behind Banana's in Simson Bay. They stay open later than most places and have good, quick food. Many locals come in after work. Just don't feed the dog. Mike

Show up at the marigot market at about 11am, just as the rum salesmen is starting to pack up. We've had him down to $4 a bottle that way.

snorkeling equipment at cost-u-less. Full kit is $20. Cheeper than renting and pretty decent. I've used mine for scuba the following 3 yrs.

great photos from the top of the hill at pelican. Safer than pic-paridise and awesome pictures of the bay and st barts (also great pics from the burnt-out white house if it is still unlocked)

Lal's Indian cuisine on Airport Rd opposite that old terminal. Great Indian food and atmosphere - Lal is a great host - 60's / 70's rock music with a sporadic outburst of music trivia questions.
