rick,

I'm always a little surprised at how such a funky little place can turn out such a great lunch. The only complaint I have with them is that I wish they would/could do a little more about policing the trash issues in and around where they're located - the blowing napkins and straws/wrappers, etc. I know, you'd think the diners would take care of their own mess but that isn't always the case as we well know. Anyway, the ribs are great and if you want you can order a double order of ribs w/o the sides. Yummy!! Oh, BTW, I've never eaten them but I've heard rumor the burgers are as good as the ribs.

Talk of the Town is our favorite, in Grand Case.

Great food, good people watching too.

I would agree that the ribs at the lolo's in Grand Case are outstanding and inexpensive - $5.00 for a rack. The only problem there are the flys. They drive you crazy. Another good place is Lee's on the airport road. $7.00 for a rack, and no flys. Lee's has excellent tuna and mahi mahi as well.

Beef, pork or goat? Honestly have not had a poor tasting rack anywhere on the island.

Lee's - if you like everything overcooked and dried out.

Sorry, have never understood the attraction to this place. We tried it several times due to the rave reviews. All meals were bad. Won't bother again.

Hmmm, so I guess I'm the lone dissenter amoong the last three or four posters here but I have to say, I've also never had a bad dinner at Lee's and my husband and I both feel the best Caribbean lobsters we've ever had this side of Scilly Cay were had three years running now all at Lee's. That said, I've never ordered his ribs and probably won't in the future because in my book, that's like going to a steak house and ordering fish and chips.

As for ribs, I still think the best I've had on the island were had at Rosie's on Mullet Bay Beach.
