This will be my first visit to the SXM and I will be arriving on saturday and I see the 5 day forcast is predicting rain for the next 5 days. Is July the rainy season or what? What is there to do in the SXM indoors in the event of rain?

Every time we are on Island, the forcast is the same!!! Sunny, chance of rain and clouds.... Never really saw anything different!!! This is tropical weather, and anyones guess is as good as another!!! Mostley it rains, some times downpours, and then, just when you think the whole day is shot? The sun is out and its a go.... Hope for the best, because the best weather forcasters can not not tell what will take place, unless there is a major hurricane or storm right near St.M.

We have been going to the Island for 15 years in July. It is sunny almost EVERY day. With a passing, refreshing rain cloud now and then. And if by chance you do get a cloudy day...go shopping!!!

How about in August? My parents are concerned we are traveling during hurricane season. We are there from June 6th-13th. Thanks!
