Old Oasis Hotel / Kim Sha Beach

Does anyone have pictures of the exterior of this hotel that use to sit where the present day Atrium is built?

I would like to know the history. We had parties there for my childrens First Communnion and Confirmation and have pictures of the enterior but none of the exterior. We never learned the history of the structor. It would be nice to include this in the journals I have written for my children.

Thank you in advance for any information.

Sylvia

I'm trying to remember now when it was the Oasis.
originally it was the Simpson bay Village Hotel, built by a local consortium, and it looked like this picture. When it was sold to some Chinese people, it became Kim Sha. and everyone started calling the beach Kim Sha.

That's it !!! Thank you so much.

When I emailed to my daughter she said she thinks we called it 'The Oasis' or 'The Watering Hole' because of the restaurant.

Thank you again for your time.
