We just returned from 3 weeks in St. Maarten and ate at Granduca a number of times. The restaurant itself is beautiful, the menu is interesting, the service is great, the food is fantastic - using all the finest ingredients. And Enzo is always the gracious host!

Where exactly is this restaurant located? Will be on Island in two weeks and would like to give it a try. Thanks.

Granduca by Enzo La Rosa is in Maho across the street from the Casino Royale and above Paris Bistro. We ate there last week and the food and service were excellent in a very nice setting. We will definitely eat there again during our next trip in March.

It's actually no more expensive than any of the other fine restaurants on the island.
None of them are cheap.

Good food should never be cheap! If you want cheap go to KFC..and good food should always be enjoyed slowly and with good wine!

It just seemed high to me--I thought higher than the French side, which we do eat at a few times each trip.
I think there can be a price between approx $30 a plate and KFC----my mistake.

I'm sure we will try it---and not be put off by rudeness---

Sorry, I didn't mean to be rude. I have found in my experience on the island when ever we dined somewhere where the price was lower the food wasn't as special. Enzo has a following for a reason... well worth making it a special meal! Enjoy!

Not to be rude but dID you ever eat at Citos, Yvettes, Marks or the some of the lolos just to name a few? The foods pretty cheap in all these places but for the most part its still pretty darned good eating. As much as some will argue the fact paying a lot for a meal doesnt necessarily mean good or bad. Just that your willing to pay more. I guess we can agree to all define special in diffrent ways and while I agree Enzo is excellent so are all these inexpensive and borderline cheap places too and I sure wouldnt turn my nose up at them.

We found the cost to be about the same as our other favorite restaurants. We spent $110 before tip for one appetizer, 2 entrees, 1 dessert and 3 glasses of wine and bottled water. Same ballpark as LaGodola, Moulin Fou, etc. Meal was delicious and service great.

While I appreciate the fine reviews, it does indeed seem very pricy. I have had many a gourmet meal in Grand Case for less. The menu is interesting and I suspect if I hit a jackpot at the casino, I would give it a try.
