New cruise ship terminal

Is the new terminal being used exclusively? I can't imagine it next to the Sea Palace, the water seems pretty shallow. Are they still using the old terminal as well?

there is no new cruise ship terminal. there are new cruise ship piers.
they built another large pier up at the harbour for extra cruise ships to dock at.

then they built an additional small pier.....like the one in the middle of town...for the water taxis to let people off on.
That new small pier is the one near the Sea Palace.

Thanks. That's interesting. When the Carnival Victory stops at St. Maarten end of January I'll get to see the new docks.

Here's a pic of Great Bay. If you look carefully you can see Sea Palace and the new little pier for dropping cruise passengers.
