Best internet providers

Hi All,

I have been trying to research internet providers on the island and getting a lot of confusing information. Can anyone suggest who would be the best service provider.

It seems that there are different providers on the French and Dutch sides - I would be particularly interested in who would be the best for the French side.

And also if anyone knows - the telephone numbers on the French side of the island are they classified as "Guadeloupe" numbers or are they St Martin specific?

Caribserve (caribserve.net) is IMHO the best provider for both side of the island... actually, I don't think I am mistaken if I say that it is the only provider who covers both side of the island. I am with them since many years now, started on the Dutch side and then moved to the French side and had no problem wityh my internet to follow me...
As far as telephone numbers we have the same area code as Guadeloupe which is 590, and most of the time "we" are still being classified as being part of Guadeloupe even though we are not since few years already

Thanks Philippe - that is a great help - I will do more research on Caribserve.

Re the Guadeloupe number that is also great as my current phone service includes unlimited calls to Guadeloupe landlines within the fixed rate price per month smiling smiley
