Where are you staying on the island? If the Dutch side near the airport, you will have various areas to explore such as Simpson Bay (Pelican area) that has a casino (Hollywood) and piano Bar (Red Piano) plus many restaurants with live music, Maho that has a few nightclubs (Bliss and the new club above the Casino Royale), casino (Casino Royale), piano bar (Sopranos) and plenty of restaurants, and the Cupecoy area (Atlantis Casino complex) for casino action and high end restaurants. If you are careful, Philipsburg has a restaurant with a recommended show (L'Escargot) plus some casinos and a nice boardwalk but I would not recommend going there at night unless you are staying there or take a cab.

If you are on the French side and you want good late night entertainment, then make sure you have rented a car and then refer to the above list.grinning smiley

Hey!

IIF you're in the Simpson Bay area you'll have a hard time not finding a good time with 3 couples.

RED PIANO is not just a piano bar. After midnight locals, regulars, ex-pats entertainers, waitpeople and a mix of young and old hang. Good dance music and excellent drinks...no food.

BLISS and TANTRA are upscale disco/clubs catering to the stiletto-collared shirt set but a lot of tourists hang...20's to 30's mainly. Crowd wafts in after midnight.

Eat, drink, party, meet new ppl. at TOPPER's Restaurant Simpson Bay nightly. Karoake on Thursday nights. The ALLEY again in Simpson Bay rocks.

Lady C, and SOGGY DOLLAR can pack in BIG crowds. Ribs at C are exceptional, steel toe shoes at Dollar a necessity on a busy night ( outdoors )

Check out K-PASA when you arrive and listen to Island Radio 92 and ERB or SOC for lots of updates.

Thanks Denis for the clarification of the Red Piano. Just a note though...if a person is repelled by cigarette smoke, I have heard from others that the Red Piano can get a bit smokey... Being that I smoke, I would probably not notice it so much but I thought I'd just point this out.

Hey Vicki!

It's not that bad really..no haze, the lads keep it cool and upgraded the ventilation. Michele hates smoke, just asked her and she says it's NO problem. No pipes or cigars.

You really have to hand it to Jason and Colin. They know hoe to treat customers! Lots of experience in the busiest bars on Island have made them aware of every priority and they accept nothing less than the best. ( and the stripper pole is EVIL ) haha!

Well, that's good to hear! We have never been there and hopefully some day we'll make it over there...We did pass it on our way to Toppers one night so at least I know where it is which is half the battle... smiling smiley
