Medical Insurance

My wife & I are both retired. We have submitted our application for "residency"
(through a Phillipsburg attorney)all forms and financial statements have been submitted and it appears we will be approved shortly. The one major question I am having trouble getting answered is how do we purchase medical insurance in St Maarten?. Is there a government program we can purchase? (like MEDICARE) or is all medical insurance private?.

the government medical insurance is an employee insurance.
If you are not employed or you are employed on a high pay scale, then you have to have private medical insurance. I would suggest you contact Ennia or Fatum.
there are probably others also.
