Returning wk4

We will be returning to the Atrium wk4 and wonder if any new restaurants in the area. Is it still difficult to walk around at night? Security was a problem from what I remember.
Any new developments in the Mullet Bay area? This has always been one of our favorite beaches. Rosie still there?
Cheri's? Lee's? Still good?

Thanks for any answers. Mike

Mike,

I can't speak for the Atrium but as of our last trip, which was this past November, there's been no changes in the Mullet Bay area at all as far as the status of the old resort. As for the beach, Rosie is still there renting her chairs and umbrellas and serving up some of the best dry ribs on the island.

We've never particularly cared for Cheri's and don't even stop there for drinks lately. We did have lobster at Lee's and it was delicious. Not cheap but worth every penny as far as I'm concerned. Judging from opinions posted on other chat boards, Lee's draws the full gamut of comments from great to gross so I guess everyone should be their own judge on that one. My experiences there have always been pretty good but I don't view a dinner there as 'dining' but more like 'eating supper' and I tend to categorize it a few steps above the beachfront lolos - great for what it is and awesome for fresh lobster but it certainly doesn't fall into the same category as Bajatzu or Marios or some of the other really great island spots.

Respectfully,

pat

We are at the Atrium 2 x per year. Last in October 07 and we had no secutiry issues at all. Walked all over Simpson Bay in the evenings. uneventfull and tons of fun!
