We are booked for over the 90 day limit in St.M. we own a home, but are not residents... What will happen to us, if we get caught staying longer?

You should really check with the island immigration offices. Any information someone may give you is subject to their own understanding of the rules which might not be the same as an offical position from the island. And then I would get it in writing. Signed. Especially if its in your favour or contrary to the now popular position of 90 days and your history.
