have been looking for flights from hartford,CT to sxm early april and cant find anything reasonable. any ideas.

We fly BDL CLT SXM frequently.

US Air midweek you can usually find something about $400 - $450 for late April or May. Early April is still considered high heason (or perhaps shoulder). Prices for everything drops after April 15th or so) Cheapest I have ever seen it is $340 plus taxes and fees.

I echo Elaines comments above. It's around $ 550 right now but you may find it drops during Feb. 8 weeks from departure seems to be the sweet spot for reductions.

Who knows? You might get lucky on those flight prices as others have suggested but don't forget, early April's the Easter/spring break time here in CT so if I were you, I'd keep a pretty close eye on the airline seat maps and if your heart is set on those dates, you might want to go for the tickets now (or if and when you see the planes starting to book up) and hope for the refunds later.

i just booked bos to sxm for 480.00pp april 3-14 including all taxes through priceline.com. i offered 355.25.
