I recently paid my special assessment fee of $1800 to the Sapphire. I requested a return e-mail of veritication of payment. Of course no email or fax or phone.
Today my credit card statement arrived with a $148 charge from
" #CARIBISCH GASTVRYHEID ST. MAARTEN AN" The Saff did owe me 2 weeks rent for rooms they rented.
Does anyone know what the above name is or who it belongs to?? has anyone recieved a similar name on your payment statement?
Rumor has it they are working on the place and one owner was put up in a villa at no extra charge due to remodeling. Any input out there??

The Sapphire has been charging our credit card for years with that name. Evidentally, that is the registered name for the credit card system. Many places in St. Martin do a simular thing and use a totally different name for credit card charges.

I was stumped as verbal contact with them is ......."DIFFICULT"
I am still curious about the $148 charge from $1890! Maybe they owned up to thier rental obligations! We shall see. I understand they are making improvements?
