I will be working in St. Martin and I need to get a copy of my police record from the states. Any idea of who I can contact to get it? I am already living in St. Martin.

Have you tried the C.O.R.I office in the state you lived in?
or maybe the police in the city you lived in?

If you don't mind my asking, how much of a police record will St. Martin allow before they deny you a work permit?

I am also planning to work in St. Maarten. Yesterday I went to our county Sheriff's Office to be fingerprinted. Now, I have to send the fingerprints with a cover letter explaining the purpose of the request (along with a $30.00 certified check) to Division of State Police in my state's capital. They are suppose to respond within five to ten working days.

This was all part of the "Instructions for Obtaining Your Criminal History Record". If you are from New Jersey...I can forward additional additional information to you.

Thanks, I had to do the same thing. It was actually quite funny trying to get someone to fingerprint me here. The French absolutely will not!
