Can someone give me advice on renting an auto on St. Martin, we going down on 3/23 with a 3/30 return and we're staying at Orient Beach

I rented from GCL Car rental and they are the guys I will use. They came and picked us up from the airport and delivered us to the hotel. They had a Jeep Liberty for that so 3 people and luggage was no problem. We rented a Diahatsu Terios which is sort of a mini minivan. It was perfect and plenty of room for my arthritic knees. They had parked the car close to the hotel so after we'd checked in, he trotted out the paperwork and I signed it, he gave me the keys, and took me to the car. That was MUCH more convenient than the past times I've struggled with luggage to the bus to the lot and then wait in line. And THEN load up and go to the hotel and unload and have to go move the car.

Strongly suggest you avoid Paradise.The car rental place of course; the rest of the island is generally Paradise and should never be avoided!
